Dr. Mahantesh Magadum

Dr. Mahantesh Magadum is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 26 years of experience specializing in the field of Joint replacement surgery of hip, knee and shoulder joint as well as Arthroscopic surgery, Sports medicine. After graduating from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in India, he specialized in orthopaedic surgery from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Karnataka, India. He then went to Institute De La Main in Paris, France where he received a fellowship in shoulder arthroscopy and shoulder joint replacement surgery, and then a Master Fellowship in shoulder arthroscopy from the Orthopaedic Learning Centre, Chicago, Illinois, USA. He has also completed his Master of sports medicine degree from south Wales university of United Kingdom. He was also clinical associate in the Department of Orthopaedics, South Shield Tyneside District Hospital, South Shield, UK. Prior to that, he has held several posts and headed orthopaedic departments in various prestigious hospitals in India including HOSMAT, Apollo and St. John’s Medical College hospital.
